1. Who is responsible
The controller of personal data on this website is Ersin Yıldırım, acting as a private individual. You can reach me through the contact form.
2. Visiting this website
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages). To deliver the pages and protect the site against attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. The legal basis is legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). I do not use these data to identify you.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not set cookies and does not store anything in your browser. That is why there is no cookie banner. Fonts are served from this website itself, not from Google Fonts or another external service.
4. Contact form
When you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address, organisation (if given), topic and message. I use them only to read and answer your message. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time, and, for press and business enquiries, legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
To keep out spam, the form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks technical signals from your browser. Messages are deleted at the latest 12 months after our conversation ends. There is no automatic reply, no newsletter and no marketing.
5. Who receives the data
Only the service providers needed to run this website and deliver form messages to me: Cloudflare (hosting, security and spam protection) and the email service that forwards form messages. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. In that case, transfers rely on the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To use these rights, please write through the contact form.
You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example in Poland the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), or in Türkiye the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).
7. Changes
If this notice changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
